Frequently Asked Questions

Why should I get adjusted and who can get adjusted?

Honestly I struggle with this question.. so I’m just going to be authentic here… I have adjusted infants as brand new as minutes old, I’ve adjusted my 90 year old grandparents, I’ve adjusted family pets, livestock, birds etc.. who should get adjusted.. ask yourself this.. does it have a brain and spinal cord? If the answer is yes I don’t know why you wouldn’t want better communication between your body and brain so if I actually have to answer this question for you.. I might not be the chiropractor for you.

How is Dr. Madi’s approach different?

If you’re directed to this website someone might have already told you about me so you have an idea that I’m not showing up at your house to “pop and crack” you back into better alignment and be on my way. I like to say I’m just an extremely good listener because my approach largely depends on your body's ability to communicate! The best way I can describe it is my practiced analogy so here it is for you all -

If you’re a ship in the middle of the ocean, a structural (pop crack mostly/ someone who takes X-rays) chiropractic approach to I’ll have the chiropractor taking over as captain of the ship to chart your course. They want to see you multiple times a week to make sure you stay on course. What I am going to do is look at your ship, see the direction you’re trying to go, and change the tide underneath you so you drift that direction. This is why it is great to pair my approach with other chiropractic techniques and why it depends on how good a ship you have!

What should I expect during and after a session?

Again, I am going to assume if you’re reading this someone’s already told you about their experience, but the short and sweet is, my approach is very gentle. I am certain you will see things change and move for your horse during a session (check out some of my videos on Instagram) but for people it is going to vary greatly, you may feel nothing at all the first time you get adjusted by me, you could notice an immediate difference! We’re going to find out together based on what you or your animal has going on!

How long does it take?

Adjustments take anywhere between 7-20 minutes depending on comfortability and cooperation. We go at you and your animal's speed!

Where will you travel?

Absolutely anywhere! If there is a group of horses and people/pets we can discuss options to get me out to you and get you a quote for pricing in your area.
